AP High Court Staff Members Contact Virus

In what it could be a shocker, 16 staff members of Andhra Pradesh High Court got infected with the ongoing pandemic. Following this, the operations of the court were suspended.
The registrar of the High Court issued a statement in this regard which also stated the operations of the lower courts under the High Court will also be suspended as a precautionary measure. However, emergency petitions can be applied online.
Looking at the total infections in the state, 704 fresh cases were reported on Tuesday, taking the toll of the total cases in the state to 14,595. So far 187 people succumbed to the virus.
On the other hand, so far 6,161 patients managed to recover from the respiratory disease, while the toll of the active cases in the state stood at 7,897.
