KCR's 'Hit' List Ends Flop Show Talk

After dissolving the Telangana assembly, TRS supremo KCR has surprised everyone by releasing the list of 105 candidates for the elections. Except two, the sitting MLAs were renominated in all other constituencies. Suddenly the whole state began talking about the list, the names of the candidates and why they were nominated.
Through this KCR has cleverly managed to divert the attention from the fiasco that the Pragathi Nivedana Sabha has been. Pragathi Nivedana Sabha was touted to be the biggest show in India with over 25 lakh people taking part in it. KCR pulled all stops and plugged in all the resources for the meet. Even the Government agencies were roped in to ensure the desired turnout. But, at the end of the day, the crowd wasn't more than 4 lakh, which is way too below the target. With this, everyone began talking about the flop show and started questioning the claims of the ruling TRS. After all, it spent over Rs 300 crore for the Sabha. KCR had decided that the best way to make people forget the flop show was to release the list of the candidates.
With this, he also ensured that no one talked about why the assembly was dissolved. That's KCR for you. Very clever, very foxy in his strategies. He knows how to set the agenda and make people think and do what he wants them to do.
