DGCI Writes to IndiGo Airlines over alleged norms violation

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut once again found herself in the middle of the headlines after the statutory body Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA) has written to Indigo Airlines alleging that while trying to report the Actress, several norms were violated.

The statutory body has written to the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Indian low-cost Airlines IndiGo Wolfgang Prock-Schauer and claimed that several norms were violated by the media personnel while reporting news about the actress.

With a strong tone, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA) warned all the airlines citing that if any such violation takes place again, the flight services will be suspended for two weeks.

DGCI directed the IndiGo airlines to take action on the violators who violated the norms and submit a report on the cation it took against the violators in 15 days. The body even warned the airlines that if the airlines won’t submit the reports, it will take action on the airlines.

In the order, the DGCI went on to say that, flight services will be suspended for a period of not less than two weeks if anyone takes photographs or videos inside the flight and the services will be resumed only after the airlines take action against the violators
