Shruti Haasan Changes Strategy. But Not Takers!

Shruti Haasan stayed away from acting career for more than two and a half years. The main reason behind it was her relationship with a British theater actor and also she wanted to focus on her music career. Recently she broke up with her boyfriend and focusses back on acting.
Currently, she is acting in a Tamil film called Laabam alongside Vijay Sethupathi. Meanwhile, she is also hearing out new scripts from both Tamil and Telugu filmmakers. Initially, she did not get any proper opportunities and hence she decided to focus on female-centric movies. According to the sources, Shruti is planning to more female-oriented films from now on like Nayanthara and Anushka.
Doing female-oriented films is not a bad idea but one needs superstardom to pull off such films. Heroines like Nayanthara and Anushka also started doing such films only after getting a huge fan following. Though Shruti is a star actress, her absence from the last two years has affected her popularity and it is better for her to regain stardom and then experiment with lady-oriented subjects.
