TRS Man Assaults Car Driver

Flush with the inebriating success in the Municipal elections, a TRS leader has attacked a couple just because they wanted him to get out of the way of their car. The incident occurred on Tuesday at Borabanda in Hyderabad.
According to the police, one Srinivas and his wife went to Erragadda on some work. While they were returning home, they found a gang led by TRS leader Jahangir blocking the way. When Srinivas requested them to allow his vehicle to pass, Jahangir flew into a rage and began attacking Srinivas. When Srinivas's wife tried to save him, Jahangir attacked her too.
Protesting against the high handed behaviour of the TRS leader, the couple lodged a complaint with the police in the SR Nagar police station. The TRS leader also filed a counter case against the couple.
