Renu Desai has acted in films like 'Badri' and 'Jhonny' before marrying the power star Pawan Kalyan. They both have two children Akira and Aadhya who are in schooling. Renu got divorced from the star and she is perceiving direction and acting in Marathi films by staying in Pune.
Renu Desai said in an Interview recently that it all depends on her son Akira whether to join films as an actor and successor of his dad Power Star Pawan Kalyan or not. It depends on Akira whether he has that spark in him and passion in him to join films. It should not be like my father and brothers are in films so I would join films. The desire should be from Inside!
The Actress-Director also responded to the heated discussion of nepotism. She said that it exists everywhere and just talent survives! background just helps for two films so maybe she ended.
