Is the noose tightening around Chandrababu Naidu now? It appears so as many of his steadfast backers, so carefully planted in various key departments of the administration at both the Centre as well as the state are now being booked by various investigative agencies. First the likes of CM Ramesh and Sujana Chowdary, who were known to be Chandrababu's most trusted moneybags were raided. Cases were booked against them. Both these politico-cum-businessmen trooped into the BJP and left the TDP in the lurch.
Later, the CID officials raided ED official Bollineni Gandhi, who is considered close to the TDP establishment. He was in fact involved in the probe into the cases against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The raids on Gandhi have caused tremors in the TDP camp. Now after these raids, Sana Satish, a TDP activist known to be quite close to Chandrababu Naidu has been taken into custody. Satish is known to be middleman who fixes CBI probe cases. He is also said to be close to several CBI officials and played a key role in the controversies over CBI directorship. This incident has caused a huge headache to the Modi government.
