BJP MLA Tests Positive For The Virus

The ongoing pandemic is spreading its deadly wings in India as the positive cases in India are increasing rapidly. After common people, high-range cases were also being reported in the country.
Assam BJP MLA Krishnendu Paul who represents the Patharkandi constituency got infected with the virus and got admitted to the Karimganj Civil hospital accordingly.
Deputy Commissioner of Karimganj district, Anbamuthan MP declared that the MLA was tested positive for the virus. His swam samples were collected on the 18th of June and sent for tests.
After the MLA tested positive for the virus, the authorities started tracing out the details of people who might have come in contact with the lawmaker. As a precautionary measure, his staff members and family members will also be tested for the virus.
In the past 24 hours, 203 fresh infections were reported in the state and the total cases rose to 6,056.
