From the past few months, we have been hearing tons of information about how the OTT platforms became a major source of entertainment and how they are going to be the major force in the entertainment industry. It is somewhat true that these platforms are getting popular but there is a lot more we need to know.
From the trusted internal sources, we are hearing that the OTT platforms are trying to occupy the entire industry. They are publicising a lot about how the views and reach have increased immensely but the sources claim that it is not entirely true. They say that the views have not increased but it is the watch time that grew a lot in the past few months. It is because a lot of people are confined to homes and spent their time watch one series after the other.
The producers are running behind the OTT platforms to sell their films. There is huge news going around that these digital platforms are giving fancy rates to the producers but the truth is that the producers should have to wait for at least 8 months before they are able to get a hold of the money.
