Mukul Wasnik Could Be New Congress Chief

In the high-level meeting chaired by Sonia Gandhi on Friday, A decision was taken not to delay the announcement of new President of the Congress Party anymore. This meeting was attended by AK Antony, Ahmed Patel and KV Venugopal.
On Saturday, Congress Working Committee (CWC) will be electing its new Party President. Mukul Wasnik, a Dalit Leader, is the front-runner to the post which fell vacant after the resignation of Rahul Gandhi.
Mukul Wasnik is the youngest Member of Parliament at the age of 25. He is the Son of 3-time MP Balkrishna Wasnik.
Mr. Wasnik was the Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment in the UPA Government. He was the president of Indian Youth Congress from 1984 to 1990 and also served as President of National Student Union Of India (NSUI). What strategy does he have to revive the Congress Party?
