IT Raids On Senior TDP Leader

In what is being seen as a shock to the Telugu Desam Party, the IT sleuths on Thursday morning began raids on the assets and properties of senior Telugu Desam leader Srinivasa Reddy. Reddy is also the president of the Kadapa district unit of the Telugu Desam.
On Thursday morning, the sleuths of the Income Tax department raided his house in Kadapa's Dwaraka Nagar. At the same time, another team raided his offices in Hyderabad. Reddeppagari Srinivasa Reddy is famously known as Kadapa Vasu. His father Rajagopala Reddy is a five-time, winning thrice on the Congress ticket and twice on TDP ticket. He was also a minister both under PV Narasimha Rao and NT Rama Rao.
His elder brother Ramesh Kumar Reddy was an MLC. Srinivasa Reddy had also contested as the TDP's MP candidate from Kadapa. Further details about the raids is yet to be revealed.
