Why 2.O Budget Increased? Shankar Explains!

Rajinikanth disclosed that Shankar looked very disturbed by the time shoot of '2.O' has neared ending. A media person quizzed the Filmmaker why was he so upset and has he completed the movie within the estimated budget.
Shanker replied: 'We planned the release of '2.O' in last year itself. VFX Company promised to deliver the output two months prior to the release. But, They sought 6 months time to complete the work by the time we conducted audio launch in Dubai. After 6 months, They asked us to wait for 1 year. That's when we realized that it can't handle heavy VFX Shots. Then, We hired a much bigger VFX Company and attained the desired output. The whole process resulted in the escalation of the budget'.
The Ace Filmmaker assured 3D version of '2.O' will be 10 times more effective than the 2D version. He claims to have chosen an universal point and anybody who used cell phone can connect with the social message.
