Asailant Shouts Anti Jewish Slogans, Kills 11 Persons

An armed assailant attacked a Jewish Synagog (prayer hall) in Pittsburgh, US on Saturday morning killing as many as 11 persons and injuring six people. There were over 60 persons in the synagogue at the time of the attack. They congregated for a baby-naming ceremony. Armed person, identified as Robert Bowers is around 46 years of age and carried out the attack for 20 minutes. He shouted 'All Jews must die" while opening fire.
This is the deadliest attack on Jews in the US, The police said Bowers had spewed anti-semetic venom on social media before the attack. The assailant surrendered to the police after killing . The attack was strongly condemned by the US president Donald Trump. He said there must be no tolerance for anti-semetism. Late on Saturday, hundreds of locals carried out a candle march and offered prayers for the victims.
