Chandrababu's Strange Logic

Chandrababu Naidu has the uncanny ability to make outrageous statements. The other day, he campaigned in Telangana for the TDP. During the campaign, he said he is not contesting in Telangana and can never become its Chief Minister. But, without batting an eyelid, he said the people should vote for him. He is also saying that his 13 MLAs may not do much, but is confident that he would work for the Telangana people.
One is yet to forget what his 15 MLAs did in 2014. Except one MLA, all others defected to other parties. Will the situation be any different this time? But, his bravado is baffling the voters. All except one MLA - Harikrishna's daughter Suhasini - could very well defect. So, what can he achieve?
Chandrababu is slamming the defectors from his party in the strongest possible words. But, what about the 22 YSRCP MLAs he lured into his party? Hasn't he made 4 of them ministers in his cabinet without changing their party?
Hearing his searing criticism of the TRS, one wonders why Chandrababu is so harsh when he tried for an alliance with the TRS till a few days ago. It was only after the plans failed that he thought of aligning with the Congress, which accepted the offer gleefully.
