Director Maruti who recently scored a blockbuster with 'Prati Roju Pandage' is yet to start his next project. Known for his own brand of entertainment, Maruti is looking for star heroes for his upcoming film as he did films with medium level heroes like Sai Tej, Nani, Sharwanand and others.
Sources say that this director recently rejected offer given by none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi. It is known that Chiru looks after the careers of every young hero in the mega family. His inputs proved to be very useful for the careers of Charan and Sai Tej. Now, reports suggest that he wanted to establish his son-in-law Kalyan Dhev's career as his debut film tanked at the box-office. He reportedly asked Maruti to make a comedy filled film with Kalyan Dhev.
As Maruti is trying to get into the top league, he is said to have softly declined Chiru's offer. This is a very risky move from Maruti but respecting his decision Chiranjeevi is now looking for other directors as per sources.
