Senior heroine Bhumika is one of the few heroines in Telugu who has acted in blockbuster films of Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu. She took a gap from the film industry after marrying famous yoga guru Bharat Thakur in 2007. The couple has been blessed with a baby boy in 2014.
Bhumika made her re-entry into films MS Dhoni biopic "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story'. She also made her re-entry to Tollywood with 'MCA' movie starring Nani. She has impressed the Telugu audience with Nani's sister-in-law role in the film. She got few more offers with the success of 'MCA'. She is presently doing a crucial role in Naga Chaitanya film 'Savyasaachi'.
