Vishwaroopam-2 Is Coming In August

Kamal Hassan delivered a huge blockbuster in action genre in his own direction, Vishwaroopam, 5 years ago.
Ever since, the sequel or the second part of the film that was slated to release by early 2014 has been delayed due to producer, Aascar Ravichandran's financial woes regarding I and other films.
All of a sudden, the big budget maker who produced films like Dasavatharam had to sell off rights of the movie. Kamal after some fight got full ownership of the movie and started post production by late 2017.
He announced that he completed remaining 5 days shoot and Ghibran is re-mastering the background score.
Right now, all the post production works are going on in USA and he got a clarity on when he can release the film.
Hence, he announced that the film will release on 10th August as Independence day release. Movie acquired a cult fanbase mainly for the two water drops fight sequence, where Kamal transforms from a dance theatre to an agent.
Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur and Rahul Bose are returning in this film.
