Did Gopi Sundar Copy His Own Tune?

It is quite common for filmmakers to rehash or re-use their own ideas that worked before and in case, music directors, they rehash their own tunes with minor changes in different languages.

As music is seen as a universal language, many follow the example that legends have set earlier.

Ilayaraja, Mani Sharma, Keeravani, AR Rahman used to give similar tunes or almost identical tunes their popular songs from one language on demand of makers.

Gopi Sundar, the new sensation in South Indian music, seems to be following the same.

Recently, his Inkem Inkem Kavale from Geetha Govindam, is said to be an old tune of Ilayaraja, recreated in different tempo by him.

Now, his Shailaja Reddy Alludu Choode sung by Mangli aka Satyavathi from Naga Chaitanya's Shailaja Reddy Alludu is said to be a recreation of his own tune from a popular Malayalam film.

We don't know if that's true but social media is abuzz about it and proofs will be coming out soon, it seems.

Ramyakrishnan and Anu Emmanuel are playing lead roles with Naga Chaitanya in this Maruthi Dasari directorial. Movie is scheduled to release on 31st August.
