The OTT platforms these days have become a primary source of entertainment and slowly becoming one of the biggest markets in the visual medium. There was a buzz that films like 'V' and 'Nishabdham' will be having a direct OTT release instead of a theatrical release but there were later termed as just rumors.
In the meanwhile, there are a lot of rumors doing rounds that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be entering the web world through a series that will be streamed on 'Aha'. Allu Aravind is said to be working with scriptwriters already.
On the other hand, there is a talk that he even approached Nagarjuna to produce some web content through his Annapurna Studios banner so that it can be streamed in 'Aha'. There was news that Suresh Babu joined hands with Netflix and he is now planning to produce some original Telugu content. For this, he is reportedly trying to bring his younger brother Venkatesh on board.
The interesting thing is all these names of senior heroes are being attached to OTT content. Usually, younger lot are the ones to get linked to such new technology. But the senior heroes are making their way into the new mediums. Are they entering as a part of the business? or are they getting into OTT platforms as the current star heroes are dominating them nowadays?
