How TDP Has Taken Over The Congress Party In Telangana?

The TDP has literally taken over the Congress Party. On the paper and on the face of it, the TDP may appear to be the junior partner in the Maha Kutami with just 14 seats. But, it has virtually seeped into the Congress in a much sinister manner. It now emerges that at least four TDP candidates will be fighting the elections on the Congress ticket. If they win the elections, they will officially be Congress MLAs but will virtually be TDP informers in the party. This is what the TDP did in Andhra Pradesh during the 2014 elections. At least two of the BJP MLAs in AP are actually TDP men. Throughout, they functioned as TDP men in BJP.
Extending the same argument, the TDP now has 18 candidates - 14 official TDP candidates and four Cong candidates. Several other Congress leaders too owe their seats to Chandrababu Naidu. In fact, it was on Chandrababu's suggestion that those candidates were given tickets. So, all these MLAs would be obliged to Chandrababu Naidu.
This means, whether Congress wins or loses the electins in Telangana, it would be completely under the control of the TDP. Thus, if the Congress forms the government, Telangana would be governed from Amaravati. It would be Chandrababu, who would actually decide everything. Hence the TRS is strongly opposing this and is asking the Telanganites to see through the TDP gameplan to take over the governance of Telangana or take over the Congress Party. It says that the Congress will now have to help the TDP in winning AP elections.
