A Rape? Inside a Corona Isolation ward?

The Gaya police have arrested a health worker involved in the treatment of Corona positive patients in the isolation wards of Anugrah Narayan Hospitall in Bihar's Gaya city. His crime? He raped a Corona suspect. The patient, who was later discharged from the hospital, after she tested negative, died at home due to excessive bleeding.
Her parents allege that the woman, a labourer working in Punjab who returned to Gaya before the lockdown, was raped while she was in the isolation ward. The woman had a miscarriage and later showed symptoms of suspected Corona. She was kept in the hospital for treatment and was released later on April 3. But on April 6, she began to bleed excessively and died later. Based on the complaint by the parents, the police took into custody one health worker and are questioning him.
The Bihar state Women's Commission too has initiated an inquiry and sought a report from the Gaya district administration and the hospital authorities.
