Why Country Is Obsessing With Sushant's Case: Sharad Pawar

In the wake of late Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death investigation hitting headlines, Rajya Sabha member, Nationalist Congress Party(NCP) chief Sharad Pawar made some rather shocking remarks.
Sharad Pawar expressed his shock over the country's obsession with the investigation and said there are other cases and issues and too which has to be focused.
Sharad Pawar opined that farmers are also committing suicide in this country and the government should focus on the farmers' suicides too.
However, the NCP chief maintained that any suicide is a piece of sad news and found fault with the country obsessing over Sushant Singh's death case.
His shocking remarks came in the light of the opposition led by Congress opposed the farm bills introduced by the Centre.
Sharad Pawar announced that he would observe one-day fasting against the upper house suspending eight MPs for their unruly behavior in Rajya Sabha on Sunday.
Rajya Sabha passed two crucial bills, Farmer's Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, and the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 on Sunday.
