Ahead of the upcoming polls, TDP MLAs are now looking at other parties. Rajampet Legislator Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy joined YCP already. Even Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan was supposed to join the Main Opposition by now but the attempts made by the TDP Leadership made him wait for few days. Nara Lokesh spoke to Amanchi over phone and Minister Siddha Raghava Rao met the MLA to convince him to continue in the Ruling Party. Thereafter, Thota Trimurthulu swung into action and made him meet the Party President.
During the meeting with CM in Undavalli, Amanchi questioned, 'I won as Independent and then joined TDP. How could party offer two posts to my opponents without my consent? Few TDP Activists has been working against Me. Senior Leaders remained mere spectators inspite of knowing about it'.
No assurance was given by the TDP Supremo to the Chirala MLA. Post the meeting, Amanchi told he hasn't withdrawn his plans to change the party and the final call would taken after discussing with his followers. The Legislator didn't hesitate to say that he is willing to meet CM once again. That's the only positive for TDP in this episode..!
