MAA U-Turn: Revokes Ban On Sri Reddy!

After the backlash, Movie Artist Association has withdrawn the ban imposed on Sri Reddy following the semi-nude protest seeking membership. MAA President Shivaji Raja said Members of the film body were upset with the kind of protest staged by Sri Reddy. He added, 'After Industry Bigwigs asked us to reconsider the decision, We decided to revoke it and Sri Reddy is free to work in whichever movies she sign. We welcome her into our Association'.
When quizzed about the sexual exploitation allegations against Daggubati Abhiram, Shivaji Raja informed about the committee constituted by MAA to address Casting Couch. He said complaints lodged by any Actress would be considered and measures will be taken to do justice to the victims.
On the demand of film offers to Telugu Heroines, MAA maintained Producers have the right to chose the actors of their choice as huge money is at stake with every project. Shivaji Raja opined even Government of India won't accept if we pass an order that only Telugu Heroines should act in Tollywood.
