MLA Offers Flying Kiss To Speaker In Assembly

Congress MLA Taraprasad Bahinipati left all the members of the Odisha Assembly in splits by offering a flying kiss to Speaker SN Patro. He made it clear, 'I have no intention to insult the Speaker's chair or SN Patro. This gesture is meant to show gratitude towards the Speaker who offered Me an opportunity to speak about issues in my constituency'.
Out of 147 MLAs, Taraprasad is the first legislator who got the chance to speak on issues faced in the constituency. He spoke about the drinking water problem in his Assembly Segment.
On the first day of Winter Session, Taraprasad had drawn everyone's attention by approaching Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to ask, 'Sire, Are You Happy'. In response, Mr.Patnaik said: 'I'm Very Happy'.
The gesture of Taraprasad towards Speaker can also be seen as an indirect dig. Some say, He did that to convey Opposition Lawmakers weren't allotted sufficient time to speak in Assembly. Guess, what will happen if MLAs in other states and MPs take inspiration from this Odisha Legislator..!
