Due to the nationwide lockdown, the SSC exams which have to be finished by now has postponed abruptly until further orders from the authorities. As of now, only three papers of the SSC examinations were conducted and Eight papers remain, including major subjects like English, mathematics and science.

Telangana Board of Secondary Education has decided to conduct the SSC exams with the old hall tickets that were already released in March. While speaking on this, board director A Satyanarayana Reddy said that no new hall tickets are needed to attend the exams and instructions regarding this are passed to the authorities.

Because of social distancing, only one student is allowed to sit on the bench and to meet this requirement the centres and more invigilators and staff are arranged.

Telangana’s Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said the government needs the High Court's approval before announcing the exam dates. And on Monday, the government may file an affidavit before the High Court. If the court permits to conduct the exams, they will be conducted by month end said, Reddy.
