Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra has become popular in Hollywood in the recent past. PC's Hollywood film 'Baywatch' is releasing in May and she is pretty excited about it. According to the latest buzz, Priyanka Chopra is said to have signed another prestigious project.
Kalpana Chawla was an Indian American astronaut and the first woman of Indian origin in space. Preparations are on to make a biopic on Kalpana Chawla now. Priyanka is said to be playing the titular role in the biopic as per the latest talk. A new production company 'Getway' is bankrolling this crazy project. Script work is going on for the last one year and final script has been locked already. Official announcement of this biopic will be expected anytime soon. Priyanka Chopra is going to be one of the producers for this project.
Priya Mishra is going to debut as a director with this biopic. She said that "I worked in a creative department in a channel.. I left my job for learning filmmaking. I have readied two scripts.. Kalpana Chawla is one of them". Astronaut Kalpana chawla died in 2003 as Columbia space shuttle was exploded. Kalpana Chawla created a record by staying long time in the space for 31 days 14 hours 54 minutes.
