During an eventful Sankranthi season, we saw theatres being filled with families like never before for two weeks and Sarileru Neekevvaru, Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo made a meal at the box office as big hits.
But 24th January and 31st January releases did not end up being that positive for Telugu states Box Office. Disco Raja ended up as a disaster for Ravi Teja and Aswatthama final verdict is still unknown.
For 7th February, all films that couldn't find date and theatres in January are releasing and among them, there is a big film like Jaanu too. Well, let's look at all the releases scheduled for 7th February, in Telugu states
3 Monkeys: This movie starring Jabardasth stars like Sudigali Sudheer, Auto Ramprasad and Getup Srinu has been long in production and finally, it is releasing on 7th February. Can Sudheer and team find success in films too? Well, they have approached even Megastar Chiranjeevi to promote their film, which means they have left no stones unturned.
Jaanu: Sharwanand and Samantha are coming together with this film. It is Tamil cult love story 96 remake but Telugu version did not create enough buzz. Still, it could have a long run at the box office as a successful producer like Dil Raju is backing it big time.
Savaari: Nandu got Internet and social media attention for this movie. The trailer looks really different from regular films but will it end up another Nandu starrer that promised much and ends up delivering Nothing? Let's wait few more hours to find out.
Stalin Andarivadu: Rangam fame Jiiva's Tamil movie is releasing with Chiranjeevi titles. The movie has no absolutely no buzz.
Degree College: The trailer of the movie looks like another "real story" of degree students in love but more adult film oriented than true. This film also has no buzz.
Malang (Hindi): The trailers and hot show of Disha Patani made many look at this film. In Hyderabad and Vizag, where multiplex culture is strong, movie could open better. It also stars Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor.
Birds of Prey (English): DC Comic book fans in Hyderabad and urban areas are excited about this film. Margot Robbie is looking come up with a R-Rated girl gang action film. Reviews from US premieres say that movie is good.
Little Women (English): As Oscar awards are coming up with weekend, Little Women which has some oscar buzz going is opening in India. People who catch up with English movies in urban areas might be interested in this one.
