Shock To TDP..CBI Takes Up Ayesha Meera Case!

The Hyderabad High Court on Thursday handed over the sensational murder case of B-Pharmacy Student Ayesha Meera to CBI. An order has been passed to AP Police to submit the details of the case to the Independent Agency.
On December 27th, 2007, Ayesha Meera was found murdered in her hostel room in Ibrahimpatnam, Vijayawada. After failing to nab the murderer for so long, Murder charges were leveled against Pidatala Satyam Babu and Trail Court had awarded him life sentence. However, High Court had acquitted Satyam Babu as he was innocent and ordered SIT to trace the actual murderer. It's then destruction of case record came to light. And now, High Court felt CBI can alone find a solution to the case. The Investigation Agency was asked to file two FIRs (Murder, Destruction of Case Records).
TDP Government which banned entry of CBI into AP few weeks ago received a rude shock with the High Court order. CBI can't use its powers in any state without the consent of the local Government. But now, The Investigation Agency will be able to proceed further because of the High Court order.
