KTR Opens Up On Shock Defeat In Karimnagar

For the first ever time after the shock defeat of the TRS in Karimnagar Lok Sabha elections, TRS working president KTR has spoken on the issue. Talking to the party workers in Karimnagar on Ednesday, KTR said that the TRS were over confident and that they did not put in their best efforts. He told them that this has proved costly for the party and one of their best parliamentarians had lost the elections.
This is the first time the TRS leader has spoken about the defeat. The Karimnagar parliamentary seat has KTR's assembly constituency and this is, in effect, a defeat of KTR too. KTR said that complacency of the TRS party workers was responsible for the defeat and said if only the party workers worked harder , they could have retained the seat.
Vinod is one of the two close family members of chief minister KCR who had lost the elections this time. The second one is KCR's daughter Kavitha.
