Telangana Polls: Rs 100 Cr Cash Seized!

Parties & Candidates have been trying to influence the voters in every possible manner as the polling of Assembly Polls in Telangana will happen on December 7th. Money & Liquor has been distributed to the public in every nook and corner of the state.
Election Commission made elaborate arrangements to prevent bribing of voters. Police and Income Tax Officials has collectively seized Rs 100 crore in Telangana so far. While Police Department seized Rs 75 crore in the statewide searches, IT Officials were able to get hold of Rs 25 crore undisclosed income. Liquor worth Rs 9 crore has been seized by the officials till date.
By December 6th, Cash seized by Cops and IT Sleuths could surpass Rs 150 crore. That's how much candidates have been relying on money to emerge victorious.
Over 1.25 lakh Police Personnel will be used by EC for Friday's polling. CCTV Cameras were installed at 32,324 Polling Booths until now.
