Is Chiru Going The Big B Way?

Despite being in the film industry for over four decades, thereâs not even a single black spot on the sparklingly white career of Mega Star Chiranjeevi.If there is any dark spot, it's his joining in politics. He perhaps did not realise that politics are very murky and extremely devious. Hence, despite forming Praja Rajyam and despite having a stint as a minister at the Centre, Chiru has been keeping aloof from politics for quite some time. He made a re-entry into films and notched up a memorable victory with Khaidi No 150. He is now focused on the shooting of his next magnum opus Sye Raa.
Now, he has clearly indicated that itâs swansong for politics. He had sent a clear message to his fans that it's no more politics for him. Recently, Rahul Gandhi met him and invited him to be part of the Congress campaign. Even co-actress Vijayasanthi had invited him to campaign for the Congress. Meanwhile, the Jana Sena hoped that he would boost up the campaign of brother Pawan Kalyan. In addition, his daughter-in-law Upasana Konidela's close relatives Konda Visweswara Reddy and his wife Shobhana Kamineni, too asked Chiru to back them. Konda, it may be recalled is the Congress candidate from Chevella MP constituency. Despite all these entreaties, Chiru refused to play ball.
He seems to be going the Big B's way. Amitabh Bachchan too had joined politics and won from Allahabad. But, soon, he realised that politics is not his cup of tea and opted out. Since then , he has studiously kept away from politics. His wife Jaya Bachchan, however, is an MP from Samajwadi Party. But, Bachchan is not with any party. Chiru too seems to be doing the same thing. He is right now busy with his film projects and nothing elese.
