8 Terror Suspects Arrested In Old City

National Intelligence Agency (NIA) nabbed 7 suspects believed to be working for terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba during the searches in Hyderabad Old City on Monday. One of the suspects was identified as a Religious Preacher.
Two days ago, Central Intelligence Bureau suspected Jaish Muhammad's Terror Outfit could be planning attack in India on Independence Day. Arrest of an LeT Terrorist in Delhi helped NIA trace the 8 terror suspects in Bhupalapally.
NIA Team conducted searched at Shaheen Nagar and Pahadi Shareef falling in Balapur Police Station limits on Monday. Digital Devices and Papers have been seized during the search held in the houses of 7 suspects. Notices were served to two persons asking them to appear for questioning. This operation is in connection with 2016 case related to terror outfit Islamic State.
Five Hyderabad Youth were nabbed at Kolkata in 2015 when they planned to join ISIS. They were handed over to Hyderabad Police and released after counselling sessions. These people seems to be influenced by Islamic State again and hence searches were conducted by NIA in the areas they live.
