Babu Bangaram is not Gold in Overseas

Director Maruthi is expecting "Babu Bangaram" to fix his market in USA but the film disappointed him big time as it could not even create break even for buyers.
Apparently this Venky-Nayan starrer is sold for 5 crores for local buyers, while the main Overseas Distributor brought three films, A..Aa, Babu Bangaram and Premam as a package. All these three are produced by same production house only. In its full run now, Bangaram made nearly $400,000 collection and that accounts to 1.5+ crores 'share' for distributor.
Looking at the way the film failed to manage at least 80% of investment recovery, that affects Maruthi's next flicks business big time. For now, Bangaram is not Gold in overseas.
