'Never Expected PK Would Be In This Stage'

Supriya Yarlagadda proved her mettle with 'Goodachari'. It was her Grandfather ANR who encouraged her to sign 'Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi' but the outcome is disappointing. 'After that failure, I didn't act again though many Directors approached Me. I had even received an offer from Kollywood but couldn't take up the role due to language issue. A year ago, Adivi Sesh and Sashi Kiran approached Me for 'Goodachari'. They told me that I would be perfect for Nadiya Qureshi role. Then, I asked them to do an audition first by saying I'm ready to do if they are confident that I could pull it off. Signed the film as everything fell in place. It gives Me joy when Akkineni Fans say they are proud of the way I had acted,' she revealed.
Usually, Star Kid won't be keen to take up Negative Roles. Supriya, however, likes roles with negative shades and she is ready to do such characters in future as well.
When asked about her first Co-Star, Supriya told: 'Though I stopped doing films more than two decades ago, People still remember Me as Pawan Kalyan Heroine. Can't I earn carve a niche for myself (she laughs). But, Pawan Kalyan is Pawan Kalyan…He is a huge star…never expected he would scale such big heights'.
