Another actress... another sucide.... What is happening to the film industry? Why are film actresses ending their lives?
Barely two days after a Tamil comedian's wife hanged herself, another film actress ended her life. This time in West Bengal. Bengali actress Payal Chakravarty was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a hotel in Siligudi town in the north Bengal.
Payal checked into a hotel in Siligudi and was to go to Sikkim on Wednesday morning. But, she did not come out of her room. On Wednesday night, she did not respond to the calls of the hotel staff. On suspicion, they peeped into the room through the window only to find her lying lifelessly on her bed. They broke open the gates and immediately alerted the police. According to the actor's father Prabir Guha, she was in depression has she was recently divorced from her husband. She has a son. The police have booked a case of suspicious death.
