After a long gap, Undavalli Arun Kumar responded on the political developments in Andhra Pradesh. He found fault with CM Chandrababu Naidu claiming that he would dictate terms to Centre & Obtain Special Category Status if Andhrites offer 25 MP Seats in 2019 Polls. 'Babu could do nothing with 25 MPs. He is enacting this drama to bag as many MP seats as possible,' he opined.
The Former MP questioned why bifurcation of AP happened against the Constitution and what is the need for stopping live telecast while passing the Telangana Bill. He said JD (S)-Congress combine were able to win the floor test and form government because of the Supreme Court order ensuring live telecast. Undavalli told people will know who had committed blunders if debate happens on the AP Reorganisation Act 2014 in Parliament. He complained, 'Voting wasn't conducted properly and injustice was done to AP by shutting the doors of Parliament. People would have known the truth had if there is live telecast'.
Undavalli lauded YS Jaganmohan Reddy for moving the No Confidence Motion against NDA Government in the fight for Special Category Status. He questioned, 'Why Chandrababu Naidu is reluctant to order for an inquiry on the allegations made by TTD former head priest Ramana Dhikshitulu? Naidu himself demanded CBI Probe on TTD Activities during 2008 Assembly Sessions. How can Maharashtra BJP Minister's Wife be a TTD Board Member at the time when TDP is claiming to be fighting with the Saffron Party?'.
