Donald Trump Asks Health Officials To Slow Down Pandemic Tests

Addressing a political rally, United States President Donald Trump made some controversial remarks over the pandemic tests which are conducted to detect whether the patients got infected with the virus or not.
Donald Trump said that he asked the officials of the Health Department to slow down the pandemic tests, as conducting more tests will result in more number of infections getting reported.
He even termed the pandemic tests as a double-edged sword. He addressed the crowd in Oklahoma which marks the first-ever rally addressed by him since the pandemic started.
The official data states that, so far, the United States conducted over 25 million pandemic tests. Donald Trump is against conducting the tests in large numbers.
He went on to say that when the tests are conducted in large numbers, more and more infections will be reported and that's why he advised the health officials to cut short the count of the tests.
