Rana Daggubati is a pan-Indian actor who expanded his market range with the movie Baahubali. The two-part project has elevated Rana as one of the biggest stars in India. Rana is busy with a handful of bilingual projects. One of them that Rana started long back is titled as 1945.
Tipped to be a period drama, the film 1945 is directed by Sathya Siva. Regina Cassandra is the leading lady and the movie is produced by K Productions. Nasser came on board to play a crucial role in the film along with Satya Raj. The movie will have a simultaneous release in both Telugu and Tamil languages.
The makers finished the shoot for half of the movie but kept the other half on hold because of the financial problems. The makers shot the film in Kochi and Sri Lanka. As they hit a roadblock with the financial crisis, the producers stopped the film's shoot and started exploring opportunities to get funds to finish the other half of the movie.
On the other side, Rana is busy working on Housefull 4, Haathi Mere Saathi, and a couple of other projects.
