Ex-CM's Son-In-Law Goes Missing

There is shock and dismay in Karnataka over the sudden disappearance of former CM SM Krishna's son-in-law and prominent industrialist Siddhartha. Siddhartha, who stopped his car on the Netravati bridge to take a phone call on Monday, walked away towards a lake. He did not return even after a long time. The driver grew panicky and frantically searched for him in the vicinity. His whereabouts are still unknown.
Siddharth is the owner of Cafe Coffee Day and his firms were raided last year by the income tax officials. The police are now scouring the area and have requisitioned expert swimmers to look in Nethravathi river. It is being suspected that he may have accidentally slipped and fell into the river.
Meanwhile, Karnataka CM Yeddiyurappa drove to SM Krishna's residence and consoled him. He is personally monitoring the rescue and search operations.
SM Krishna was Karnataka CM and has joined the BJP after the Congress ignored him. He is a strong Vokkaliga leader with considerable support base in the Mysore region.
