25 Years Of Rangeela: RGV Gets Nostalgic!

Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV who is famous for his discussions and debates has yet again impressed film lovers and film industry folks by finding new avenues to market and make money through films even in crisis.
Today marks the 25 years aka silver jubilee celebrations of the release of blockbuster film 'Rangeela'. The film starring Aamir Khan, Urmila Matondkar and Jackie Shroff was released on September 08,1995 and eventually became a cult classic and made RGV a most wanted Director in B-Town and infact RGV was the first and foremost director to make a corporate deal with companies to do films for them and the trend followed from there on to sign directors too!
RGV went nostalgic and shared a working still from the sets of Rangeela where he was assisted by Madhur Bandarkar(Lagaan fame).
RGV once revealed that he wanted to cast Nagarjuna for Aamir Khan's role and Superstar Rajinikanth for Jackie Shroff's role. He said that they were the prime choices but due to dates clash and other issues the film found it's way in Bollywood.
