Rashmika Calls Off Engagement! Why?

Reports of Rashmika Mandanna & her 'Kirrak Party' co-star Rakshit Shetty heading for a break-up surfaced prior to the release of 'Geetha Govindam'. However, Rashmika condemned the break-up reports even few days ago and told they were enjoying their live-in relationship.
Finally, Rashmika's Mother Suman Mandanna broke her silence to confirm the separation. She told, 'There are few differences between them. We tried to resolve them but failed to do so. Both the families have decided to cancel the Engagement. We are disturbed with what has happened. One shouldn't suffer because of the other person. Everyone should be happy!'.
Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika had fallen in love while shooting for Kannada flick 'Kirrak Party'. They got engaged in July 2017 with the consent of their families but got separated within an year. After the break-up, Rakshit Shetty quit social media.
On the professional front, Rashmika is going great guns. 'Chalo' and 'Geetha Govindam' have become solid hits. 'Devadas' and 'Comrade' are in the pipeline.
