Prakash Raj extended outright support to the Ruling TRS ahead of the upcoming Assembly Polls. 'KCR is a statesman. Though he arrived for campaigning after conducting Homam, CM asked Public not to vote based on religion and caste. He represents Federal Politics and striving hard for Non-BJP, Non-Congress Front. My Vote is for TRS which has done so well so far under the leadership of KCR. People should think who is striving for their welfare before exercising their right to vote,' he said.
The National Award-winning Actor questioned what is the need for Chandrababu Naidu to focus on Telangana Affairs. He questioned, 'In case if Mahakutami is voted to power, Would Chandrababu comes in support of Telangana while dealing with inter-state issues? As AP CM, He have the responsibility to take care of his state. Why TDP is contesting in Telangana? It's wrong even if TRS contests in AP'.
When asked why he is supporting Congress in Karnataka, Prakash Raj conveyed he likes Siddaramaiah who is the head of National Party in that Southern State. He can't support Telangana Congress as it lacks such a Leader and also due to too many CM Candidates.
