Konda Surekha Wants To Make A Comeback!!

Warangal's political family of Konda Surekha and Konda Murali appear to be determined to reclaim their position in the district politics. The family now wants to prove their strength in the urban Warangal and want to show that they are still relevant in Warangal politics.
While they were in the Congress, Konda Surekha and Murali were among the strongest leaders. Later, they joined the YSRCP and worked with Jagan. But, with the formation of Telangana, they had no alternative but to join the TRS. The TRS had made Konda Surekha an MLA. But, later, the party leadership tried to marginalise them. Unable to bear this, they rejoined the Congress and contesed the 2018 elections. Konda Surekha lost badly and has been in hibernation ever since.
Now with the municipal elections approaching for Warangal, Konda Surekha has become active again. She is now getting disgruntled TRS men into the Congress Party. Several ex-corporators have joined the party in recent times.
She appears determined to make a comeback in the district politics. Let us wait and watch how she does it.
