Sanjay's stern warning surprises BJP leaders

BJP Telangana chief Bandi Sanjay is slowly but surely asserting himself. He is now trying to show that he is the boss and that he means business. He is giving tasks to the district presidents and is asking them to explain why the works were not accomplished.
At a recent review meeting of the protests organised by the party, Bandi Sanjay took the district presidents to task for the poor attendance at the dharnas before the collectorate. He asked the district presidents to be pro-active and ensure that all the party members take part in the programmes designated by the state unit. He was particularly critical of three districts presidents - those from Rangareddy, Wanaparthy and Medak – for staying at home while the workers were staging a dharna. He said such irresponsibility would not be tolerated.
This is perhaps the first time in as many years that a state president has questioned the district presidents for tardy work and disinterested participation. He also reportedly told the party leaders to ensure that they get arrested while protesting on the streets and not prefer house arrests. "house arrest is for photographs. We should get arrested while protesting on the streets," he told them. Are the BJP workers listening?
