After Sukku, It Is Sanjana

The number of lady directors in Tollywood is slowly increasing these days. With Raj Tarun's upcoming movie Rajagadu, Sanjana Reddy is going to mark her directorial debut. Like maths teacher turned director Sukumar, Sanjana also came into the industry from the same profession.
Sanjana started her career as a maths teacher and later became an employee in a software company. She also worked as a journalist for sometime and worked with Ram Gopal Varma for Rowdy movie. Realising her film making skills, she visited the countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok etc and learnt the basics of filmmaking. After returning to India, she wanted to direct a movie but the people from her closer circles commented that it will at least take 10 years for her to do this.
Meanwhile, she met Nagarjuna's wife Amala and dared to direct a commercial. She stated that when she was trying to develop the script with Raj Tarun, she got impressed with the concept of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and developed Kleptomania as the theme of her movie and developed the characters based on it. Though the shooting is taking a lot of time, she seems to be confident about the success of the film.
