BJP Has A Lame Duck President

Poor Bandi Sanjay!! His presidentship tenure seems to be jinxed. He has been made president, but he has not yet officially taken over as the party chief. Before he could do it, the Corona lockdown came and everything came to a standstill.
He is working with the old team only and is still not able to induct his trusted men into the state team. At the same time, he is unable to address the aspirations of the young party workers. Due to the lockdown, he is spending most of his time in Karimnagar, his MP constituency. His biggest fear is if he does not visit Karimnagar, minister Gangula Kamalakar, who also comes from the same community, could steal the march over him. At the same time, continued absence in Hyderabad would mean that he will never get a grip over the affairs in Hyderabad. So, he is forced to shuttle between Karimnagar and Hyderabad every alternative day.
In all these, the party organizational work is suffering hard. Though every evening, he is holding a teleconference with the key leaders, he is unable to get a feel of what is happening. Corona has literally turned him into a lame duck president.
