Kavuri set to leave BJP, join TDP

Once he was the leading light of the Congress Party. He was the Central minister and wielded lot of influence. He had direct access to Prime Ministers. But today, he is a near nobody. He has no interest in the party he is in and party has little interest in him. He is Kavuri Sambasiva Rao.
Kavuri was one of the most powerful leaders of Congress Party and was known to be quite close to Sonia Gandhi's coterie. But, with the state's bifurcation, the Congress has overnight become unwanted in AP. So, he tried to join the TDP and work with Chandrababu Naidu. But, Maganti Babu, his arch rival in West Godavari, had strongly opposed his entry. So, Chandrababu had to give in to his demand. So, Kavuri had no party to go. It was at this time that he joined the BJP.
But, he always found himself out of place in BJP. The party did not give him any position of importance. He was like any other leader, that was all. Increasingly, he is beginning to feel that the BJP is not the right place to be in. So, he is planning to jump into the TDP bandwagon. But, will Maganti Babu relent? What will be the deal for him? Will he get a respectable position in TDP? But, one thing is certain. He has decided to walk out on the BJP. What's his next stop? Let's wait and see!!
