Suryapet Army Colonel Martyred At Ladakh

The violent standoff between Indian and Chinese troops resulted in an Indian Army colonel and two Indian soldiers martyred by the Chinese troops at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh last night.
Army colonel who was martyred hails from Suryapet of Telangana. Colonel Santosh Babu along with two soldiers was martyred at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh along the borderline.
Some defense sources stated that the Colonel and the soldiers were killed in hand-to-hand combat with the Chinese troops on Indian territory.
Colonel Santosh is rendering his services at the border for 18 months is survived by a wife and two kids. He resides in Vidya Nagar of Suryapet who studied in the Hyderabad Sainik School.
