5-year-Old who Returned From Guntur Tests COVID Positive

In what it could be a shocker a 5-year-old deaf kid in Telangana tested positive for the novel coronavirus who recently went to Guntur for a treatment. He was taken to Guntur by his family members for deafness treatment.
Upon receiving treatment the family and the kid returned to his native place Jagityala of Telangana on the 14th of April. Their neighbors who got to know that they returned from Guntur, the hotspot for the virus in the state informed the medical officers.
The medical officials have sent the blood samples of the kid and the reports turned out as positive of the virus. Medical examinations were also conducted for his family members but the tests were negative. He was shifted to the Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad and being treated there.
The toll of the total reported cases of coronavirus in Telangana reaches 647. Out of the positive cases,120 patients have managed to recover from the virus and 18 have passed away.
